soaring in the skies
amongst clouds,
stardust,
is in my eyes,
and sunlight,
in my heart.
a speckle of pink appears,
the stars slowly fade,
and the world is quiet.
my mind is calm
and the universe is serene.
a symphony of starlight,
burns across the sky
like a phoenix
rising from its ashes.
